Creating a channel should be more intuitive

Now the user must press "Alt" and perform drag and drop -- this is highly unintuitive.

At best, by right-clicking on a component/port, the user needs to be able to draw a channel.

We cannot use right-click since the context menu interrupts the drag already at mouseDown natively.
We also cannot use "Ctrl+LeftMButton" since this is a MACOSX equivalent for bringing up the context menu.

Best would be to have some means to switch from selection to connection mode.
However, this is a deep change in our way of using GEF.

If we are considering to someday switch to a newer framework like Graphiti, I recommend we live with the ALT solution,
as we did during the last four years.
