[safety-maintenance] Preparing for maintenance
Within the tool, the maintenance annotations may be done either manually or automatically, as we present in the following subsections. To annotate the assurance case with maintenance information in automatic manner, the assurance case developer shall provide certain guidance for maintenance. After creating a GSN node, by pressing the Prepare 4 Maintenance button in the node’s context menu, a dialog will open where the user may define artefacts or other assurance case nodes whose change may impact the claim within the selected node. For each of the artefacts, depending on the type of the referenced artefact, a list of types of changes impacting the respective claim may also be selected.
