Description

Current status & Background.

The plugin "org.fortiss.af3.exploration.ui" is all red by now. At latest since the transition to git, all code should be rated green ASAP. Since this is a larger effort that is also coupled with the pending transition to JavaFX GUI code, this ticket shall serve as a collection ticket for code-review-related tasks that can be used as a references for such branches.

Related actions.

  • The JavaFX migration of GUI code is very relevant for this task, since the plugin contains a large amount of SWT-related code. Reviewing of that soon-to-be-deprecated code would be a waste of such that the migration path can be examined in this plugin. JavaFX-based code should then be green.

The major issue is the migration to JFX. Another component contributing here is the integration of the new DSE project model where parts of the greenification were done.
